The Octorara Area School District is pleased to announce that enrollment in the Octorara Area Homeland Security & Protective Services Academy is now available to students in all Chester County Schools. This Academy serves students interested in careers in Fire Fighting, Law Enforcement, Emergency Medical, and Emergency Management. This program is an approved PA Department of Education Career Progr

am of Study. Upon completion, it can be credited for post secondary education and students have the ability to earn State and National job-related certifications, which are required for entry level positions. The 3-year Academy is located at the Chester County Emergency Services Training Center in Coatesville. This is a large facility equipped with the latest technology and equipment available.
