Dennis Recreation The Town of Dennis Recreation Department aims to offer fun, safe and affordable programs These times vary due to busy program schedules.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of the Dennis Recreation Department is to provide quality leisure and recreational activities for all citizens in the town of Dennis. We will continue to provide an outlet for all ages to enjoy all activities that can possibly be provided. To ensure this, we will continue to work closely with our schools, our community, other communities and our elected o

fficials to create positive, relaxing and enjoyable recreational activities for all. To that end, we will continue to pursue a recreational facility that will enhance our statement of purpose. Only with close and positive cooperation between all parties in our town can we continue to strive for the best activities for young and old. OFFICE HOURS: We share office time with the Beach and Waterways Departments from 8:30 - 4:30 Monday thru Friday, but we have independent office hours daily. By calling our “info” number we can either help you immediately or you will hear updated announcements and have a chance to leave a message so we can get in touch with you for personal attention. Camp Registration Update
Due to high volume, our registration system was overloaded this past Tuesday. If you received a confirmation email and see your registration in your account — you’re in. If you were placed on the waitlist, our office reached out; families who responded and confirmed with Joanne have been registered. The waitlist has now been cleared — those who did not respond were removed and are not registered.
We will reopen registration to fill remaining camp spots on Monday, January 12 at 12 PM at www.dennisrecreation.com.
Open to Dennis residents and DY school students.

UPDATE: Registration reopens at noon today! (Jan 12)

Youth summer programs open for registration January 6 at 10 AM. 10 AM through 12 PM is an exclusive registration window for summer camp for families who are residents of Dennis or who send their children to any of our DY schools (EHB, Station Ave, ME small, DYIMS students) at 12 PM. Registration is open to anyone. To be clear, yes, we have expanded our capacity at camp thanks to the new construction. Summer camp has been filled to capacity consistently over the past 6 years and beyond. We really don’t know what to expect on any given registration day, but based on the trends, we are really encouraging families who desperately need these programs to sign up immediately. Once the spots are gone they are gone. Our registration website link is in our bio.
