📣 Attention future teen volunteers!

New this fall: If you're interested in volunteering at the South Fayette Township Library during the 2026–2027 school year, you'll need to attend a mandatory Teen Volunteer Orientation before submitting your application.

This session is open to students entering grades 8–12 for the 2026–2027 school year. Each interested teen must attend with one parent or legal guardian (please limit one adult per teen). Siblings who do not meet the grade requirement will not be admitted.

We'll cover everything you need to know about the Teen Volunteer Program, including volunteer expectations, guidelines, available opportunities, and assigned tasks. There will also be time for questions at the end.

If you're thinking about volunteering this year, this orientation is your first step! We can't wait to meet you.

It's happening!!!

The Activity Center renovation is under way in South Fayette. The South Fayette Township Library, senior citizens association, parks and recreation board and township commissioners gathered in late June for a project kickoff.

The $4.5 million project will quadruple the library size, update space for senior activities and add recreation program rooms.
