The Officers and Members of Station 85 extend our sincere condolences to Adams Township Vol. Fire Department #2 on the passing of Retired Fire Chief and Lifetime Member Michael “Moose” Gdula.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and fellow firefighters during this difficult time.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Retired Fire Chief and Lifetime Member, Michael “Moose” Gdula. Moose was a 54 year member of the department - holding many positions including that of our Fire Chief. Our sincerest condolences go out to his wife Patty, their son Michael and their families. Thank you Moose for a job well done! Funeral arrangements will be taken care of by CO Dimond Funeral Home.

On Saturday, 8/29/26 around 9:20pm, two individuals were caught on surveillance video taking a lawnmower from our property.

South Fork Police have been notified and are aware of the incident.

If you recognize the individuals in the video or have any information, please contact the South Fork Fire Department or the South Fork Police Department.

Any information is appreciated. Please share to help us identify those involved.

Station 85 members wrapped up the 105th CCRFA Firefighters Convention this weekend by participating in Darts and the Grand Parade. We're proud to bring home 2nd Place for Best Appearing and Equipped Tanker! 🚒
Thank you to Adams Township Volunteer Fire Department #2 for hosting a great convention. We had a wonderful week with our fire family, friends, and fellow departments. Congratulations to all of the winners of the week’s events. We appreciate everyone who represented Station 85 throughout the week. We are looking forward to next year’s convention, hosted by East Taylor VFC! 👨‍🚒
