HYDRANT FLUSHING - STARTING SOON

We will begin flushing hydrants in the district on Monday, June 22nd. If you experience any milky or discolored water while this is ongoing, please call us and turn your water on for a few minutes to clear it up.

If discolored or milky water happens after normal business hours, please call South Hadley Police at 413-538-5050 and they will get in touch with our on call staff immediately.

Please note the non-essential water use restrictions that are a part of the level 2 drought status.

Between 9:00am - 5:00pm, hand held hoses and watering cans should be limited.

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protections has announced increased drought conditions in several parts of Massachusetts, including the Connecticut River Valley.

With South Hadley now under a “significant drought” classification, there are now restrictions on all nonessential outdoor water uses. Drip irrigation for gardens and hand held watering cans are permitted.

Auto-Pay is now available!!

With our new website now live, you can set up your account so that your water bill is on auto-pay.

This means never having to worry about if you paid your water bill again!

To sign up, head to the water department page below. Click on “Billpay” and log in. From there, just follow the steps to set up auto-pay and you’re all set! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out online anytime or stop in during business hours.
