📣 Volunteers Needed!

The South Hadley Senior Center is launching a new Peer Technology Mentor Program this summer, and we're looking for senior volunteers to help fellow older adults build confidence with technology.

As demand for our Technology Assistance Program continues to grow, this new peer-to-peer initiative will nearly triple our monthly capacity and allow us to serve more than 200 older adults each year.

Interested volunteers will receive training beginning in early July. Please review the flyer below for program details and requirements.

Pink, sparkle, and plenty of personality! 💖✨

The South Hadley Council on Aging Dance Class, taught by Loryn, dazzled members today during their dress rehearsal for their upcoming performance in the Ohana School of Performing Arts Dance Recital. Dressed in bright pink, fun-filled costumes, and one sharp dressed gentleman, these fabulous performers brought the glamour as they danced to classics like Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend and Material Girl.

From timeless sparkle to true Material Girl energy, this talented group proved that diamonds, and a little pink flair, never go out of style! 💎🎀

We know they’ll shine brightly on stage this weekend and can’t wait to see them light up the recital. 🌟💕

What a wonderful evening celebrating Pride Month at our LGBTQ Celebration Dinner! 🌈✨

Guests enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by Chef Harold and an unforgettable performance by Soular Eclipse, whose blend of R&B favorites and jazz flair had everyone smiling, singing along, and moving to the music.

We were also delighted to celebrate our monthly birthdays and anniversaries and share in the joy of prize giveaways with our community. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so special.

A heartfelt thank you to the Friends of the South Hadley Seniors and the Mass Cultural Council for co-sponsoring the entertainment and supporting opportunities that bring people together in celebration, connection, and pride.
