Acord has seen more clients than ever recently - mirroring what's happening on a national level. Prices are higher than wages for the first time in three years. Inflation is rising, making it impossible for individuals with fixed or lower incomes to make ends meet. We are here for you

Food insecurity affects more families now than during the coronavirus pandemic, according to a new survey from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

SNAP benefits (formerly known as food stamps) do not cover sunscreen. This expensive item is essential but often cost prohibitive and tight budgets can mean having to choose to purchase food instead.

Rally your friends, neighbors, church group, sports team, or employees to collect sunscreen for our 1,000+ clients as we head into warmer months. Or pick up a couple bottles next time you go shopping and drop to Acord any Wednesday from 4-6pm.

Summer is coming ☀️ and Acord is here for school-aged kids who rely on free lunch during the school year. Starting June 23, every Tuesday, we will distribute bags of kid-friendly, nourishing lunch supplies to any family who needs a hand.

Last night we welcomed our leadership donors "Behind the Pantry Doors," for tours to see the impact of their support. We loved getting to thank so many of them in person and share the latest about our programs. Thank you to our new neighbor, Sweetbrier Studio and Gourmet Delights Catering Inc. for donating flowers and charcuterie to help make this event extra special.

Thank you to these awesome 10th graders from Landmark School for organizing a food drive that brought in over 50 pounds of food and a bake sale that brought in a generous monetary donation. Way to go! 👏🏻
