This week the Mello team added a flag drop off box to the new Georgetown transfer station. We have always collected our US flags for free, but we hope to receive more with this new collection box. All collected flags are thermally retired several times per year in a dignified manner with the assistance of our local waste to energy incinerator partners. 🇺🇸

Annual Take a Kid Fishing Day, May 2nd 4 -6pm at State Line Field and Stream Club 91 State Line Road. Fun Free Event for the kids.

FISHING TIME: 4:00pm - 6:00 pm
Preschool through Grade 8 Students
(An adult must accompany preschoolers.)
No adults are permitted to fish.

BURGERS AND DOGS will be served from 4:00 pm to 5:00pm to raise funds for the State Line Field and Stream Club scholarship program.

Bring a kid and some worms and make some memories!

Reminder this Saturday .
Saddened to hear that Larry Baker has passed. He was extremely active in the town of South Hampton filling many roles throughout his residency here.
The celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 9 from 1 to 4 PM at the South Hampton Baptist Church. Refreshments and appetizers will be served after.

REMINDER: Town Meeting, tonight, Wednesday March 11th, Meeting starts at 7pm. Anyone available to help with set up is encouraged to arrive at 6:30 to help out.

This year Annual Town Reports will not be delivered.
Reports can be picked up at the Town Hall during office hours. Also, a bin has been placed at the front door for easier pickup. The annual report will also be available at the Police Station vestibule which is accessible 24/7. The annual report will also be viewable on the town website.

March 10 Election Day, South Hampton Town Hall 11am -8pm. Vote for Town & School Officials and for the School Budget and Warrant Articles.
March 11 Town Meeting 7 pm at the Elenore Batchelder Gym , come participate in the decision-making.
