What's new on the shelf? "The Faded Flower" by Paul McCusker. Frank is not likely to forget the day he loses his job. That's also the day he learns his father has Alzheimer's. Paul McCusker is the one who helped with "Adventures in Odyssey", so I am excited to read this inspirational story.

Between raising her crops, scouting out classic cars and investigating murders, there's never a dull moment for Mary "Harry" Haristeen. Come grab this book and join in on the fun mystery. "The Big Cat Nap" by Rita Mae Brown.

Good morning, Facebook friends! The library will be open both today and MONDAY, but will be closed next Friday. It worked out better for the school kids, so there is a day change for the library next week. Come see me this Labor Day weekend! Would love for you to drop in!!

The shows that lock someone up and then years later find out they are innocent really get me. Now we have one in book form at the library. "Guilty Until Innocent" by Robert Whitlow - Justice has been served....unless the accused is innocent.

Craig Johnson is the promoter for "Gone Dark" by Ryan Steck. Matthew Redd doesn't go looking for trouble. But this time, it's found him anyway.....and he's not the only one in the crosshairs. Welcome to Hope Springs....where Grace Wesley teaches high school history. She is on the hot seat with the school district after she answers Brooke Thawley's question about Jesus during a classroom discussion. Suddenly, Brooke becomes a pawn in an epic court case that could cast Grace the career she loves.

If you saw this outstanding movie, "God's Not Dead 2", the novel, tells more about the story behind the film. I loved the movie, and can't wait to read this book by Travis Thrasher.
