Beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, August 12 (weather permitting), the Illinois Department of Transportation will implement daytime lane closures on 159th St (Route 6) over the Bishop Ford (I-94) in South Holland and Calumet City. On weekdays from 9am-3pm, traffic approaching the expressway will be reduced to one lane in each direction through September 1. Heavy congestion is expected.

Consider using alternate routes such as 170th St or Sibley Boulevard to avoid the 159th St/I-94 interchange area.

Thank you for your patience as IDOT continues its much-needed improvements to the Bishop Ford expressway.

Only 5 days until our second House Music Concert in the Park!

Join us for an energetic night as we close out our Ravinia-style Concert in the Park series, this Friday, August 14 7-10pm.

The night will feature live sets from Grammy Award-winning DJs Hula Mahone and Maurice Joshua, spinning all the best house mixes.

Tickets are $10 per person, and children five and under are free. Gates open at 6pm. Food will be available for purchase from food trucks.

For the safety of all guests, all items brought into the park—including bags, backpacks, coolers, and picnic baskets—are subject to search upon entry.

It's been 2 weeks since our first Cruise Night of the season and we've got 2 weeks until our next and final Cruise Night.

Join us on August 22nd at South Park Ave and 161st St, 4-8pm for a stroll down South Park Avenue. Take in a wide variety of vehicles—classic, antique, custom, and exotic. Enjoy an evening of yard games, music, food trucks, and gas card giveaways!

Cruise Night is free for both vehicle owners and spectators.

Line dancing instructors Maddy B. and The Soul Line Dancing Xperience will guide you through the lessons while DJ Tony Lane, DJ Johnny Flow, DJ James Harris, and DJ Steppin George will curate the vibes for a great afternoon.

Looking for a place where your dog can run, play, and make new friends? Central Bark Dog Park is South Holland's members-only dog park, featuring a beautifully wooded, one-acre fenced park with separate play areas for large and small dogs, drinking fountains, shaded seating, and more.

Open every day from sunrise to sunset, Central Bark provides a safe space for dogs to exercise while giving pet owners the opportunity to connect with fellow dog lovers.
Memberships are available for both residents and non-residents, and day passes are also offered for visitors. Registration requires proof of a current animal license and required vaccinations.
