Six months ago, Brother Omar Kebe, a young brother from the Gambia, was shot dead on the southside of Chicago.
It is with a heavy heart that I announce the death of Omar's younger brother, Muhammad Kebe, killed last night in a drive by shooting in Englewood area on Chicago's southside.

Stop the Violence and Respect the Peace

Conscious, God Fearing, Compassionate African Americans must demonstrate to the world that we care about our youth and future. Not by just coming to the Peace Village at the African Festival of the Arts this weekend, but by becoming an Urban Peace Ambassador. It will cost you no money, and you will earn no money. We will recycle our time, love and resources to create a place of safety and possibility for our youth and families, to the extent that the space for safety will increase, and the space for violence will decrease; life and love will be preserved and cherished.

The Peace Ambassadors Program is dedicated to the Safety and Healing for victims of violence in the Chicago area. Stop the Violence and Respect the Peace.
