On August 12th we were able to celebrate Wichita Tractor Company's ribbon cutting and their expansion right here in South Hutchinson!

With the addition of Kubota equipment to their lineup, Wichita Tractor Company is continuing to grow and expand the ways they serve local farmers, businesses, and customers.

We’re glad to have their team here and excited to see what this next chapter brings.

Congratulations to the entire Wichita Tractor Company team on this exciting milestone!

The South Hutchinson Police Department is gearing up for a frightfully fun evening as the annual SHPD Trunk-or-Treat celebration returns on October 24th, 2026. Families from across the community are invited to gather at 10 E Blanchard from 4 PM to 7 PM for an unforgettable night of candy, costumes, and community spirit.

South Hutchinson has launched a new online permitting portal for miscellaneous permits, making it easier to apply, upload documents, track your permit status and receive updates all without a trip to City Hall.

We’re making city services more accessible and convenient for our residents and businesses. Learn more about the new system and how to get started below!

Impact Cycle 1 Grant Award

This impact cycle consisted of projects relating to Community Catalysts, Community & Economic Development and Strong Organizations. Hutch CF is very excited about the projects and how they will impact communities throughout Reno County.

Funding will go toward upgrading digital ticketing and court systems to create a more efficient, user-friendly, and streamlined process for court employees and the public. These upgrades will minimize manual errors, increase effectiveness, and accelerate case capacity.
