Kansas Educators:
The Kansas Native Plant Society is again offering teachers (K-12) Plant A Prairie garden kits in 2026.

Grant applications are being accepted April 1 through May 1. The garden kits will be delivered in early September for fall planting. About 35 grants are available.

Participating teachers will receive:
~32 live native plants sufficient for an 8’ x 10’ garden space,
~A 480-page field guide--Kansas Wildflowers & Grasses by Michael Haddock,
~A garden sign, planting instructions, links to teaching resources, and
~A year’s subscription to the Kansas Native Plant Society newsletter.
