We've got the Pioneer Trail Waterline Project on the brain! Work is set to start this month and continue through October. During construction drivers should expect one-lane traffic control and occasional delays on Pioneer Trail between Sierra House Elementary and Susquehana Dr.

The project will install 9,000 ft of new 16 inch water main and new fire hydrants. The project will improve reliability to the drinking water system and strengthen water delivery for firefighting.

South Tahoe Public Utility District customers may qualify for a discount of 15-25% off their monthly water and sewer bill. The District income eligibility is up to 400% of the federal poverty level to better meet the needs of our local community.

Using an irrigation system this summer? Make sure you are taking care of your system by checking for the following while your system is running:

🌿Blocked Heads: Look for overgrown grass or mulch blocking the spray pattern.
💧Misalignment: Ensure sprinklers are watering the turf, not sidewalks or driveways.
🛠️Clogs & Leaks: Watch for geysers, standing water, or unusually dry patches.
🛠️Damage: Check for heads broken by lawn mowers or foot traffic.
