The Marketing department received five PRO awards in the following categories:
🥇1st Place in Internal Communications

🥈2nd Place in Brochure Design
🥈2nd Place for Response to Major, Local, State, or National Event (Caldor Fire)
🏆Our President/Superintendent Jeff DeFranco won the 2022 CCPRO PROmoter award, which recognizes a community college administrator who has demonstrated leadership in supporting public relations and marketing at their college and throughout California.
Congratulations to the Marketing Team at Lake Tahoe Community College and thank you for continuously sharing and promoting the stories on behalf of all the amazing efforts happening at LTCC. This award is a testament to all the hard work over the past year in the areas of web, print, graphic design, advertising, writing, photography/videography, social media, media relations, website management, event coverage, and visual presentations for the college.

Meet Chase Cunningham! Third year Lake Tahoe College Promise student who is studying Psychology.
“Lake Tahoe College Promise has helped me and my family financially by covering my college tuition and textbooks. LTCC helped me figure out what I wanted to study and find where I wanted to transfer. My experience here has opened up opportunities and I feel better prepared to transfer to a 4 year [institute].”

Thanks to the support of our foundation, LTCC student athletes have a study hall space dedicated to focusing on academics. Working close with a tutor and Athletics Counselor, athletes have access to assistance completing assignments and mental health support.
Students remark they love that it's right after practice so they're encouraged to discipline themselves academically. It also helps build camaraderie, making them better teammates on and off the field ⚽️🥅
