We are one week away from the beginning of our Summer Reading Program!
Program begins on Saturday, June 13th for all ages.
The Summer Reading Kick-off Event is on Tuesday, June 16th. Start your summer off on the right foot with this all ages, drop-in event. Oakland County Parks will be here with a nature education table, bounce houses (socks!) and inflatable climbing tower. The bounce houses will be available from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Play in the garden themed sensory stations, check out the craft and game stations and enjoy a refreshing Kona Ice sponsored by Vibe Credit Union. This is an outdoor event.
Socks are required to use the bounce houses and inflatable climbing tower.

Our Saturday schedule:
High School Exam Cram begins today from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Drop-in, Study space and snacks will be available all week!

Writers' Group from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.

A big thank you to those who make this scholarship possible - the leadership of Rachael Showerman and the Scholarship Committee, the support of the Library staff, the generosity of Agnes Bongero and everyone who donates books to (or buys used books from) the Friends Book Room. If you need a place to start, we highly recommend "Kin" by Tayari Jones. It is a beautifully written, emotional journey following two motherless girls as they grow up in 1950s and 1960s Louisiana.
