Students in Ms. Checkers, second grade class at Blakewood went on a virtual field trip to the Wisconsin Humane Society. They learned how to treat and care for animals. They listened to a book about how to safely meet animals and how to treat them with respect. They also learned how the WHS helps animals in our community and were able to take a virtual tour of Adoption Avenue. They saw animals waiting for new homes, and met a furry friend named Ace. Thank you Wisconsin Humane Society! #SMWay
We understand that emotions may be high as the district begins the process of transitioning learning modes.
We thank our community for respect and support as we work to make this happen.
We have a job opportunity we would like to pass onto our community.
We are in need of crossing guards and crossing guard subs.
Please see flier for more information.
