Every Wednesday a group of our members gather to have a afternoon of fun, playing a bunch of games. They play from 1 pm to 3 pm. We would love more of you to come along and enjoy with us and switch it up a little. You can bring your own game and teach others to play - we always like to learn something new. Come in and give it a try-have some fun and laughs. Right now they play LRC (left, Right, Center) a dice game, Rummikub, Mahjong and a few card games. We have Scrabble and a few others. Come on in and have some fun. Winter can be long and its almost here. Come and see us!

It is a BEAUTIFUL Tuesday - 49° , blue skies and the sun is shining. Makes you feel charged up and ready to go! Time to get out and VOTE - Your polling site is listed on your sample ballot. Voting is until 8 pm this evening. The Center is open but no activities or Lunches today as we are one of those polling sites.

Today is a great day to stop in and pay your 2026 Membership Dues. Still the best deal in town at only $10.00 per year. So much to do and so much fun to be had at the South Plainfield Senior Center.Your $10.00 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓 goes a long way. We have a small gym, craft classes and weekly exercise classes are included as well. These classes include - Chair Yoga, Senior Zumba, Chair Zumba, Healthy Bones, Exercise with Greg, Chair Pilates, and Line Dancing.. We also have many clubs like Billiards, Knitting & Crocheting Club , Book Club, and so much more. We play Bingo every Friday and gather for Game Day on Wednesdays. We have many parties and trips throughout the year (these are at an additional cost) Come on in and be a part of a very active Senior Center. It is a great home away from home! 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 is going to be a great year.

45° degrees to start our 1st week of November off. We will warm up into the 60's again today. We are on our new time schedule and it is so nice to not wake up in the dark. We hope that everyone had a great time at the Annual Halloween Party. Another fun a successful party in the books.

The rain has stopped and it is WINDY☁️🌬️and 50°.The winds are supposed to pick up later this afternoon just as the kids start to Trick or Treat and it will only be about 55° at that time. So stay bundled up as you greet your trick or treaters! Our Weekend ahead looks to be a good one with Temps in the low 60's. This weekend don't forget we gain an hour of sleep on Sunday as we set our clocks back and hour.

Morning to everyone on this very chilly and wet day! 54° rainy, wet and dark! Looks like the sun ☀️ needed a break today🌧️. But let it rain today, so the kids can go out and have a fun HALLOWEEN tomorrow. Tonight is Mischief Night - Be safe and there is a curfew in place of 7 pm tonight for all minors. Hopefully the rain will keep all the ghouls inside tonight! Trick or Treating will be from 3 pm to 7 pm on Friday 10/31. The Mayor has asked that if you will be giving out Treats to please have your Exterior Lights on so children know that you are participating in handing out goodies.
