Sign up now for Lyric Music Theater’s Summer Children’s Workshop! This Summer we will be producing PETER PAN JR in our 2-week long musical theater daycamp for students ages 9-18.

Based on the beloved classic tale, PETER PAN JR. is a magical musical adventure filled with imagination, friendship, and unforgettable songs. Participants will journey to Neverland alongside Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Wendy, and the Darling children as they encounter pirates, mermaids, Lost Boys, and the infamous Captain Hook. Along the way, students will build performance skills, confidence, creativity, and teamwork in a fun, supportive theatrical environment.

For years, Lyric’s children’s programs have provided young performers with theatrical experiences led by skilled educators and theater professionals committed to helping students grow both onstage and off. This year’s production is led by returning program leaders Jamie Swenson and Heather Stevens. Together, they create an encouraging, engaging rehearsal environment where students of all experience levels can thrive while working toward a fully staged musical production.

Scholarship applications are now open! Are you a Maine resident studying the arts? Apply for Lyric Music Theater’s scholarship program! This program is open to all ages- whether you are studying the arts in college, participating in youth theater, or taking a local adult ed class, you can apply for this scholarship. Any kind of art education is accepted; the scholarship is not limited to theatre.
