The intended purpose of this City Facebook account is to serve as a mechanism for official communications between the City and members of the public. The City retains the right to remove improper content from the site. As guidelines, articles and comments containing any of the following shall not be allowed:
(a) Comments not related to the business of the City (or the specific Department or Commi
ttee, if a Department-specific or Committee-specific Site), or not topically related to the particular social media article being commented upon;
(b) Profane, obscene or pornographic language and/or content;
(c) Content that promotes, fosters or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, national origin, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation or any other status protected by law;
(d) Confidential or personally identifiable information in violation of State or federal law;
(e) Solicitations of commerce;
(f) Conduct or encouragement of illegal activity;
(g) Information that may tend to compromise the safety or security of the public or public systems, including, without limitation, spam, hacking, phishing, or malware distribution or solicitation; or
