2019 Doodle for Google theme is:

When I grow up, I hope...

https://doodles.google.com/d4g/

This year’s theme invites you to show us what you hope for in your future. Classrooms on Mars? Shoes that can fly? Food for everyone? A pill that cures everything? Take your ideas and put them into your Doodle!

SEPTAs Past President is part of the Mayor's Advisory Committee for Person's with Disabilities - working to Raise the Awareness of all of our Children & Residents of South River.

The result of the efforts of this group & thanks to the South River Police Department- the South River Special Needs Registry is launched:

The South River Special Needs Registry is a voluntary service open to all citizens with special needs who reside, attend school, or are employed in South River. The registry was created to help Police Officers and other emergency personnel better assist residents with special needs in the event of an emergency, by providing those first responders with vital information regarding a registrant's special needs, emergency contact information, physical description and current photograph.

Will you be joining us on Thursday, December 2nd?

Midland will be opening the doors for a School Open House. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn all about the services and support programs Midland provides to students ages 3 to 21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Join us on a tour and meet the Principal and President and CEO during an open Q & A session.

It’s not too late to register! Please send an email to Maureen Finn at [email protected] or call (908) 722-8222 Ext. 109 so we know to expect you. A confirmation email will be sent with additional information. We look forward to meeting you!
Registration is still open for the Middlesex County Parent Leader Roundtable this Thursday in Old Bridge. You’ll have the opportunity to meet with other parents to share information, resources, tips and strategies for your parent groups. Also, we will be having a discussion, with lots of good handouts, regarding parental rights in the IEP process. Click the link to register:
