This evening, the SRES is celebrating our 5th-grade Students with a fun night from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

This is a drop-off event, and all students must have a permission slip to attend.

Parents: PLEASE try to be on time for pick-up at 9:00pm; our chaperones will be exhausted 😂🥱😴

Who's ready for FUN DAY!!

Dear SRES Families, we are thrilled to remind you that tomorrow is the much-anticipated Fun Day for our 2-5th grade students. This event has been meticulously planned by our dedicated PTA, with the sole aim of making it an unforgettable experience for our students.

All student t-shirts will be given out to the students in class tomorrow morning.

-Sunscreen
-Sneakers OR I recommend Crocs as the students have an opportunity to get soaked at the fire truck station. Along with the many blow-up obstacle courses, they will need something easy to get on and off.

We have water and snacks for all students, but in this heat, they might want to bring a water bottle.

I'm so excited. Are you excited? This PTA member cannot wait to see their faces 🥳🥳

REMINDER for Tomorrow SRES FUN DAY VOLUNTEERS

Volunteer Arrival time: 6:30 - 8:00 a.m. We understand some have children in Elem and Primary, and you might need to come after. Many of us bring our children to the field in the morning and have them go to school from the field.

Our Fun Day starts promptly at 8:30 a.m. We will need your help setting up games.

When you arrive, please come to the Concession stand with your ID. We have to ensure that the person who signed up is the same person who shows up. Once you sign in at the concession stand, you will receive the section you're assigned; you might then be asked to 'set up' the game(s).

Shirts will be distributed at check-in. If you still have to pay for your shirt please bring cash.

Pack water/drinks, a cold lunch, snacks, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen for yourself.

SRES FUN DAY 2024 is approaching on June 7th

Parents, we want your ideas. We are looking to change up the past games played during Fun Day. Do you have ideas for fun group games outside? The games have to be safe, fun, and inclusive to all abilities.

Please share your ideas in the comments below.

Also, the PTA is looking to borrow some pop-up tents for Fun Day. Even if you can't volunteer for the day, we can arrange pickup or drop-off prior to Fun Day.

As we wrap up Teacher Appreciation Week, we celebrate our phenomenal SRES teachers and staff and wish them a fantastic weekend. We are grateful for their unwavering commitment towards our school's success. Thank you to all who generously contributed this week, and a special thanks to our incredible PTA Board members for their superb arrangements. Your time and effort in supporting our teachers is sincerely appreciated.
