*** Chelsea Street Bridge will be open to 1 lane of traffic during construction, consider using Royalton Village Bridge or River Road Bridge in Sharon. Dates of road milling and paving are weather dependent and may change. The Town will keep residents updated on any changes. ***

***Broad Brook Road Closure***

The Town of Royalton has awarded the Broad Brook Road Slope Stabilization Project to Markowski Excavation. Broad Brook Road will be closed at the landslide (approximately 2510 Broad Brook Rd) starting on September 9th. The project will be completed no later than November 30th.

Residents on the south side of the closure traveling north will need to use the detour route on Allen Road and Howe Hill Road. Please contact the Royalton Town Administrator at 802-763-7967 with any questions.

*** Mill Road Construction***

The Eaton Trailer Park will be replacing a water line across the town highway at approximately 401 Mill Road between 7am-5pm on Wednesday, August 26th.

The private contractor will have flaggers and will plan on leaving 1 lane of traffic open at all times. Please contact the Royalton Town Administrator at 802-763-7967 with questions.

*** Royalton Hill Road Culvert Work***

The Royalton Highway Crew will be replacing a culvert at approximately 843 Royalton Hill Road between 9am-noon on Thursday, August 27th.

Please seek alternative routes as the entire width of the road will not be passable during construction. Please contact the Royalton Town Administrator at 802-763-7967 with questions.
