Ready to loosen up, get a little inky, and completely forget about "perfection"? 🎨✨

Adventures in Printmaking is not your average art class. Taught by the incredible instructors at Bad Dog Arts, this is a bold, anything-goes, totally irreverent approach to printing where curiosity leads the way and the rules don't exist.

No experience? No problem. Just bring a willingness to experiment and laugh at the mess!

Gelli Printing & Stencils: Create rich, layered patterns and unexpected marks.

Between, Promise South Salt Lake, Craft Lake City, and South Salt Lake Arts, we’re empowering the next generation of creative entrepreneurs. Local youth are getting access to professional tools, artisan mentorship, and hands-on lessons in economic literacy, like pricing, branding, and valuing their labor.

New Brand
New Name

South Salt Lake is growing and we have a new brand to show it.

A few updates:

We are dropping the Council. We felt that we needed to incorporate and include all art, artists, and creative organizations throughout the city.

We have a new look and a new logo. We are working to build new audiences and be all encompassing of our creative businesses and our artists.

We needed a new website. We wanted to let you know that Art Lives Here and we are dedicated to keeping it that way.

Follow along, check out the events, the art classes and all the new programs and opportunities that we will be rolling out in the near future.

Join us for the Kintsugi Grief Group, a four-week therapeutic journey designed to help you navigate the loss of a loved one through the beautiful Japanese art of "golden repair." 🏺✨

In this workshop, we use the Kintsugi process—repairing broken pottery with gold—as a metaphor for our own resilience. Instead of disguising the scars of loss, we celebrate the strength it takes to heal, creating something even more precious and uniquely beautiful.
