San Diego: Hopelessness over homelessness feels worse after government missteps

"All of that paints a bleak picture of the situation unfolding in San Diego. But the thing I keep coming back to is how the general public may feel a sense of hopelessness in part because of the behavior of our elected officials."

There are no shortage of people who need help, but there are plenty of San Diegans eager to rally behind a concerted effort to help those in need, if elected officials better display genuine commitment

Mayor Gloria continues to criminalize homelessness even though he previously committed to end the practice.
