In celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary, join us as we welcome Dr. David Martin, the President of the Friends of the Monmouth Battlefield, who will give a lecture on two very important figures in our early history. Both were lieutenant colonels at the Battle of Monmouth, and both had their horses shot about half an hour apart and half a mile away. Learn about their military careers, roles at Monmouth, and postwar rivalry that led to the famous deadly duel at Weehauken in 1804.
