What started as a community call turned into a city-wide reflection. 🤎
Through Galería Mitotera , families across South Tucson shared their photos. Pieces of history, memories, and identity. Today, those stories live on S. 4th Ave, hanging proudly as part of an ongoing Oral History Project.
These banners are more than images.
They’re a mirror of resilience, cultura, and the generations that built South Tucson.
And this is just the beginning. The City of South Tucson will continue expanding this project, making sure our stories are seen, remembered, and celebrated.
Big respect to the crew Fernando and Francisco Espiru, and Francisco Guillen making it happen and installing these banners 👏
