The last few days of school are all about making memories and soaking up every moment together before summer begins. Mrs. Meyer’s class got into the spirit with a special Camping Day. They even made adorable mini cardboard craft campfires! Activities like these create the moments students will remember long after the school year ends. Days like these have kids feeling on top of the world! 🦁

Our Sunshine Club surprised teachers and staff throughout the building with ice cold drinks and tasty snacks. It was a fun way to show appreciation for all the hard work our teachers do each day.

The best part? Students got to witness the surprise and see that teachers enjoy a little extra kindness, too! Small acts of gratitude can make a big difference, and today our Sunshine Club brightened everyone’s day. Remember to thank your teacher for a great school year, you only have a few days left! 💛🍎🥤 🦁

Second graders recently invited their families to a special poetry celebration, where they proudly shared the projects they have been working on in class. Visitors enjoyed reading a variety of poems, including haikus and acrostics that showcased each student’s unique voice. A big congratulations to our young poets for their creativity and hard work! 🎉📝 🦁

Decades Spirit Day was a blast from the past!
We saw tie dyed groovy 60s, disco 70s, neon 80s, flannel loving 90s, and even one dedicated caveman representing BC, Northeast School traveled through time today for our daytime NES Time Capsule Assembly!

Students and staff enjoyed an engaging presentation by town historian, Mrs. Jean Luddy, who shared fascinating stories and history about Northeast School, complete with some truly ancient artifacts from the 1970s. 😄

Adding to the excitement, news crews from FOX 61 were on hand this morning capturing highlights of our special. Stay tuned for the news coverage! 🎥✨
