EXTREME HEAT WARNINGS ISSUED WEDNESDAY - SATURDAY
HOT WEATHER TIPS:
• STAY HYDRATED; drink more water than usual,
• Limit outdoor activity to the morning and evening,
• Find an air-conditioned location, (call 2-1-1 for cooling centers),
• Take cool showers or baths,
• Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing,
• REMEMBER YOUR PETS, they struggle in the heat as well!

ELECTRONIC RECYCLING EVENT
There will be an Electronics Recycling Event Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 8:00am-1:00pm at the Town Hall, rear parking lot.

Residents can drop off their electronic waste for free, contributing to the effort of reducing e-waste in landfills! No appointment necessary.

🚚The Fill a Public Works Truck Food Drive event on Saturday at Stop & Shop was a huge success! We received a truckload of donations from our generous residents, all to help the South Windsor Food and Fuel Bank. A special thank you to all the staff volunteers, residents, and Stop & Shop staff who made this year’s event a success.
