Earlier this afternoon Southampton Fire was dispatched to the intersection of Gunn Rd and Pleasant St for a 2 car MVA. A1 and Engine 3 responded with duty crew and call personnel.

Upon arrival crews had found 2 small SUV's collided one sustaining front end damage and the other to the driver's side B pillar. All occupants had self extricated prior to our arrival.

A1 crew obtained a refusal of treatment/transport from the driver of one of the vehicles and transported the driver from the other vehicle to the hospital with minor injuries. Engine 3 crew assisted with clean up. Thank you to Southampton Police Department-Massachusetts and Ernie's Towing for your assistance on this call.

Shout out today our crews today within a 4 hour period this afternoon we had 6 calls for service, from 1pm to 5pm the calls rolled in, 2 fire and 4 medical. At one point we had simultaneous medical calls and were handled by both our ambulances. During that time a fire call had come in and because all our crews were tied up we had mutual aid engine from Easthampton come in to cover the cooking smoke call. In between all that we were attending the Southampton town picnic. Thank you to Easthampton Fire Department for assisting with the fire call. Also shout out to the hard working officers of the Southampton Police Department-Massachusetts as they were non stop as well. Strong work today by all!

2 additional medical calls have come in within a minute of one another while our ambulance is already on a call. Mutual aid requested.

Two medical calls have come in at the same time. Mutual aid requested from Easthampton for the second medical.

At approximately 1030 this evening Southampton Fire was dispatched to Valley Rd for a 2 car Motor Vehicle accident. Engine 3 requested by police for fluid clean up on scene. No injuries reported. Valley Rd was closed was closed for a short time and has since reopened. Thank you Southampton Police Department-Massachusetts and Ernie's Towing for your assistance on this call.

*Update at 228- Gilbert Rd closed between #60 and Gilbert Wds tree blocking road. No active fire noted. Eversource is en route.
