We had lots of fun with children's activities in August! Jonathan Todd, author of Timid, returned for a 5th year of the popular Comics Camp. Then we learned how to make and launch rockets, thanks to high school student and aerospace enthusiast Vainika. The rockets went so much higher than we were expecting! We were wowed by some really cool magic tricks from Ed Popielarczyk's Comedy Magic, Balloon Twister, & Flea Circus Ring Master, and enjoyed ice cream and lawn games the next week. Finally we chased giant bubbles with Mr. Vinny the Bubble Guy! Thanks to The Friends of the Southborough Library for helping to bring these great events to our community and Southborough Recreation for sharing their lawn games!
