💔 Homelessness is more than not having a house. It's the absence of stability, safety, and support. Here at TEAM WORKZ we provide the basic necessities; food, water, hygiene products. What most people don't know is we are a Life Skills Development Center that provides a safe space for our clients.

TEAM WORKZ provides assistance with mental health, employment, emergency shelter if it is available.

TEAM WORKZ needs food items to restock our depleted Canteen supplies!
A lot of folks are coming by for food, and the weather is changing.

The items most requested right now, as we are completely out of them, include:

* Sardines
* Vienna Sausage
* Individual chips and snacks
* Granola bars
* Fruit cups
* Protein snacks (beef sticks, nuts, etc.)
* Soup packets for warm meals

Cases of water are also always in high demand. If you are able to donate or help restock these items, we would greatly appreciate your support!

“The beginnings of all things are small.” — Cicero

Looking back to October 2018—eight years ago this month—I’m deeply grateful for how far our vision of helping the homeless has grown.
It started with a simple question: “How do I help these men who are being turned away elsewhere?”
When I reached out to others and posted on Facebook, many insisted, "Moore County doesn't have a homeless population." But I knew better. The reality became clear when I met folks living in tents in the woods behind AT&T. They were just like anyone you’d see at a local diner or shop—working hard, quiet, and embarrassed by their circumstances, doing everything they could to hide their struggle.
By February 20, 2019, TEAM WORKZ was officially born with a clear mission to do more.
Fast forward 8 years: instead of operating out of the back of my van, I am incredibly proud of what TEAM WORKZ has become.
We invite you to drop by, see our impact firsthand, and learn about our Transitional Advancement Center plans and our Transitional Advancement Program, including our Life Skills Development Center! 💙
