Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan (CCSEM) serves the most vulnerable of our community, providing an array of social services in Lapeer, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Reflecting a profound respect for human life, the dignity of each person, and a commitment to strengthen families, Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan (CCSEM) annually assists more than 20,000 people of all faiths, races, a

nd cultures throughout southeast Michigan. Through client service offices in six counties of metro Detroit and beyond, our programs transform lives, relationships, and futures, serving pregnant women, young mothers, infants, children, teens, adults, seniors, couples, and families. CCSEM provides help and give hope through adoption and foster care services, the All Saints Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry in southwest Detroit, Behavioral Health therapy and counseling, Christian service and health care ministries, Hispanic Outreach Services, Immigration and Refugee Resettlement Services, the Project Hope Pro-life Ministry and services for senior citizens.

The faithful came together in prayer and celebration at Most Holy Trinity Detroit on March 17 for a special Mass celebrated by Archbishop Edward J. Weisenburger. Rooted in Detroit's oldest neighborhood's deep Irish Catholic heritage, the celebration brought the community together in gratitude and joyful fellowship as we honored Saint Patrick and his witness to the Gospel. May the faith and missionary spirit of St. Patrick continue to inspire us to proclaim Christ with courage and joy.—

St. William Parish, Walled Lake, MI hosted a donation drive for lent, and it was a huge success! 🎉 Parishioners generously donated over 225 bags of brand new and gently used shoes, boots, coats, scarves, hats, gloves, hand warmers, clothing, underwear, long johns, socks, and winter items. Our Story

The work of Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan fulfills God’s call to provide for those in need through the corporal works of mercy. CCSEM operates 13 locations across the six counties of southeast Michigan, including Lapeer, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, and Wayne counties. We serve families and individuals from all walks of life. Our work impacts more than 20,000 persons annually, regardless of their race, religion, culture, or creed. Our ministries help the poor and hungry, refugees and immigrants, orphans and homeless children, expectant mothers and mothers with young children, those suffering the challenges of mental illness and addiction, the disabled, and senior citizens.
