Due to the extreme heat over the past week and tonight's subsequent rain, we were unable to visit every street to collect everyone's Block Party raffle tickets. If we didn’t make it to your house, you can mail us the tickets or drop them off at the firehouse before or during the Block Party. Thank you so much for your support!

To prepare for the 50th anniversary of The Beverly Hills Supper Club Fire, we have commissioned a limited edition challenge coin to serve as our department's newest fundraiser and as a reminder for the 165 lives lost that tragic night. We also hope the coin will highlight the efforts of the hundreds of firefighters who worked tirelessly through the night in order to save the thousands of souls many of us still know and cherish today.

Coins are currently $10 each when picking them from our firehouse and an additional $5 if you need them shipped to an address of your choosing.

Thanks to our mutual aid partners from Covington Fire/EMS Department- Covington, KY and Wilder Fire Department for assisting us with pre-planning for some of our high hazard buildings. Covington’s specialized Tiller truck allows for extreme maneuverability in tight areas, where other truck companies would have difficulty accessing. Wilder’s short wheel based quint also allows for tight truck placement.

On duty crews performed mutual aid training, covering relay pumping. Thank you Central Campbell Fire District for hosting. This skill is utilized in long lay districts where fire hydrants are sparse.

On this anniversary date, we remember the lives that were lost. We also remember those hero’s who responded to the fire that night.
