Ask the friendly librarians at the Children's Department desk questions, have a chat about your latest read, hang out with Mr. Bear, or sign up for a program. All our programs are free to attend; though our more popular programs do require you to sign up beforehand and to put down a refundable $3/6 deposit (which you get back when you attend the pro

You've been waiting, and the time has come.

We had over 1000 kids participate in our Summer Reading program this year, so competition was FIERCE, and everyone did an amazing job.

Today is the day! It's our Dino-mite End of Summer Celebration!

Children of all ages are invited to the Southington Drive-In to celebrate the end of summer, participate in dino-riffic crafts and activities, and meet a dinosaur!

No registration is required for this free, drop in event happening at the Southington Drive-In: 995 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike, Southington, CT 06489.

Drop in anytime starting at 5:30pm until 7pm tonight, Monday, August 17th. Photographs, costumes, and dinosaur enthusiasm encouraged.

Thank you so much to all of our friends who dropped off their stuffies for the stuffie sleepover on Monday! The stuffies had so much fun spending the night in the library with Miss Christina watching movies, eating snacks, reading books and playing games! The stuffies had a blast!
