Last week, the Southlake Police Department gathered to recognize several employees whose work during the past year exemplified our mission of providing world-class police service to the community.
From professional staff members working behind the scenes, to supervisors developing the next generation of leaders, to investigators protecting vulnerable victims and officers stepping up during critical moments to provide lifesaving care, each recipient demonstrated the professionalism, integrity, accountability, innovation, and teamwork that define our department.
These awards represent more than individual accomplishments. They reflect the dedication of employees who serve our community each day with a commitment to excellence and a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
We are proud to recognize our 2025 award recipients:
Civilian of the Year – Records Manager Sarah Blum
Officer of the Year – Detective Elliott Sundby
Supervisor of the Year – Sergeant Ray Sewell
Lifesaving Award Recipients – Officer Patrick Hammesfahr, NETCOM Dispatch Supervisor Heather D’Amico, SRO Kim Smith, and Officer Clay Womack
Congratulations to each of our recipients and thank you for the example you set for our department and our community. You can read more about their award-winning work here: https://bit.ly/4v241WQ
