Meeting change- we're meeting today to honor our Key Club Scholarship winners, and also Kimberly Lufkin - our long-service Key Club Faculty Advisor, who has retiring.

Join us at the Feedstore BBQ at 11:55 for lunch and see how Kiwanis helps improve the community, one child at a time, and be impressed by the accomplishments of our two Scholarship winners.

What a fun and busy month May has been. Looking back with gratitude and fond memories of key events, including our annual Heart of Service recognition ceremony.

This annual award recognizes one of our outstanding Student Resource Officers and this year's recipient was Officer Jason Keller from Durham Intermediate. He is pictured here with Durham Asst. Principal Kim Ray, along with Kiwanis Club President Dan Seyler.

Congrats to Officer Keller and we thank you for your "Heart of Service" to the students at Durham Intermediate and to Southlake!

Are you ready?
Registration for our 2nd Annual Paddles for a Purpose Pickleball Tournament is OPEN!

We'll use Swish again to manage the tournament and you can sign up here. https://swishtournaments.com/product/paddles-for-a-purpose-2/

There will be competitive divisions for men and women, as well as a social bracket for a more relaxed game. The tourney will start off with a round robin format to get things rolling and to develop seeding, and then break into brackets until culminating in the championship games on the Champions Court at the Southlake Pickleball Complex.

All the proceeds benefit our Key Club - with scholarships and attendance at the Leaders Conference. Key Club provides the opportunity for these students to learn teamwork and leadership skills and the importance of community service. The current club has over 200 members across both campuses.
