Southport, NC - The Southport Police Department NC has filed charges following an investigation into a reported sexual assault involving two individuals who, at the time, were in a domestic relationship.
The investigation began after the victim reported an incident that had occurred at a residence in Southport in April 2025. During the investigation, the investigator conducted interviews and reviewed information and evidence provided by the victim.
Timothy Reed Spell of Southport has been charged in connection with the reported incident. The arrest details are below.
