We invite you to visit our North Carolina beaches, tucked away on the southeastern coast of the Brunswick Islands, offering both the vacationer, resident and investor a pleasant coastal experience. Our community is comprised of six municipalities -- the towns of Caswell Beach, Oak Island (Long Beach and Yaupon Beach) an

d the Village of Bald Head Island combine for over 28 miles of sandy beaches and some of the most visible lighthouses in North Carolina. For over 200 years the historic coastal community of Southport has guarded the mouth of the Cape Fear River and continues to be the lightkeeper of its history. Boiling Spring Lakes, one of the fastest growing cities in our area, takes its name from the over 50 bubbling spring lakes. James lies along the Intracoastal Waterway and marsh land.

Know a local business or non-profit that goes above and beyond for our community? Take a few minutes to recognize their hard work, dedication, and impact by submitting a nomination!

Once nominated, qualifying businesses and non-profits will be invited to submit a nomination packet, which will be presented to the Brunswick Community College Small Business Center for selection.

Small Business of the Year: Nominees must be Chamber members and have been in operation for at least five years.

Non-Profit Organization of the Year: Nominees must be recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3), provide charitable services in the Southport-Oak Island area, and have been operating for at least five years.

Don’t worry about checking the qualifications before nominating—we’ll take care of that! Simply nominate the business or organization you believe deserves recognition.
