🥒🔬 WHO DUN IT?! 🔬🥒

Things got a little suspicious in Anatomy last week! Our students put their investigative skills to work as they completed an AUTOPSY… of a PICKLE! 😂

From making observations to examining the “evidence,” our Anatomy students got hands-on experience practicing the same careful observation and analysis skills used by real medical professionals. 🧑‍⚕️🩺

Don’t worry… no pickles were harmed in the name of science. Well… maybe a few! 😂🥒

Who knew Anatomy could be this much fun?! We love seeing our students learning by doing, asking questions, and getting curious about how things work! 💚🔬

🔬🧪 Future Scientists at Work! 🧪🔬

Our freshmen scientists are already putting our new technology tools to work in the lab! Today, they’re exploring pH and getting hands-on experience with tools that make learning interactive, meaningful, and FUN! 💡📚

We’re excited to see all the discoveries, questions, and learning that this school year will bring!

Here is another look at the learning taking place in one of our classrooms. Mrs. Hughes’ Career Prep students have been structuring Vision Boards. This activity gives students the opportunity to envision specific elements they want to accomplish as their future selves and then reflect on how to achieve those goals.

Last week in Anatomy, students had the opportunity to learn more about their classmates while creating a life-size body systems poster! 🫀🫁🧠

Each group worked together to research a specific body system while also asking each other questions as part of the assignment. It was so much fun watching them get to know one another, discover the different talents each person brought to the group, and of course hearing all the laughter along the way! ❤️

Mrs. Powers loved watching the teamwork, creativity, and connections happening in the classroom. What a great way to learn Anatomy AND a little more about each other! 🧬✨
