🐴 Are you interested in learning more about the Town of Southwest Ranches? We encourage you to apply to be a member of the Rancher Academy, a two-night program that will teach the ways of Southwest Ranches through exploring how the different departments operate to support the preservation of the unique rural character of the community.

This two-night academy takes place:

📆 Wednesday, October 14, 2026 AND Wednesday, October 21, 2026
⏰ 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
📍 Town Hall (13400 Griffin Road, Southwest Ranches, FL 33330).
❗️ Please plan on attending both nights to receive the full program.

The program is limited to 30 participants and is first come, first served. We encourage new residents, established residents, and realtors to join us for an inside look at the operations of the Town!

🦟 PUBLIC NOTICE | MOSQUITO CONTROL

Broward County Mosquito Control is conducting enhanced mosquito control operations in portions of Southwest Ranches and surrounding communities in response to unusually high mosquito activity.

🚨 What Residents Should Know:
• Dates: Operations are expected to continue over the next week or until mosquito populations decrease.
• Time: Treatments are taking place during daytime and nighttime hours. Nighttime spraying typically occurs between 12:00 AM and 6:00 AM.
• Weather Permitting: Spraying schedules may change depending on weather conditions.
• Help Reduce Mosquito Breeding! Residents are encouraged to regularly inspect their properties and eliminate standing water from buckets, tires, planters, birdbaths, and other areas where mosquitoes may breed.

📞 Experiencing mosquito problems? Contact Broward County at 311 to request mosquito control services.
