This evening along with Trauger Volunteer Fire Department we teamed up and went to Hecla Sportsman's Hunting & Fishing lake to train on pump operations and drafting.
Water was flowed with both our engines as well as traugers apparatus.
A good time was had by all!
Training is always important, and learning and refreshing is key!
Thank you trauger for the invite and for the sportsman's for allowing us to use their facility!

Today we were invited by neighboring Calumet Volunteer Fire Department to participate in a basic water flow training at the highschool.
Pump ops was covered and then
We flowed some water from hydrant to truck, from truck to truck and utilized our deck guns.
Simple, basic ? Yes...but refreshment training for seasoned members is always key, as well as teaching newer members the basics.
