Congratulations to the following students for having your name drawn as a part of our ACT incentive program!

Students who earned a 30+ composite on the ACT had a drawing for each point above a 30 and were eligible to receive premium parking (first choice) for the 2026-2027 school year. We had 10 spots to give out, and we’re excited for these dedicated students! We will be in touch soon!

Additionally, students were entered into a separate drawing for each number of category benchmark scores they earned on the ACT: English, math, reading, science. These students have the option between choosing either a PTSO breakfast item each month next year OR an athletic pass that allows free admission for every home, non-play-off game.

New Teacher Spotlight!

Hello! My name is Andrea Powell, and I am super excited to begin this new chapter at Spanish Fort High School, where I will be teaching science and serving as the head girls’ basketball coach and assistant track coach.

Before joining Spanish Fort, I spent the past four years at Vigor High School as a science teacher and head girls’ basketball coach.

I am a proud mother of two amazing children, Brennan and Aubrey, who both share my love for sports. When I’m not in the classroom or on the court, I enjoy working out, spending quality time with my family, and supporting my children in their activities.

I look forward to building strong relationships within the Spanish Fort community and helping our students achieve success in the classroom, in competition, and in life.

Congrats to Sam Wilber for being named to the AHSAA Cross Country All-Star Team! Sam will compete in the All-Star race on July 21st in Montgomery representing the South team. Way to go Sam!

Hi, my name is Andre Epps Jr. I’m very excited about this new chapter at Spanish Fort High School where I will be teaching PE and coaching varsity basketball. Prior to taking this position, I have been the head boys’ basketball coach at Murphy High School for the past 5 years. I have one daughter, Kameron Jackson, who’s in junior high school and loves volleyball.
