Good afternoon Toro family,

CONGRATULATIONS to our volleyball team for qualifying for the State Tournament this week! We always encourage students to attend these fun events to support their peers and help cheer on the team to a championship! Below is information if your student wants to attend one or both days to support the team, whether it's riding our school bus as a field trip or providing their own transportation to Birmingham.

Game Schedule

Wednesday: Quarter-Finals: 9:00 am
Wednesday: Semi-Finals: 4:00
Thursday: CHAMPIONSHIP: 10:00

FAN BUS INFORMATION

Students who choose to ride the fan bus will attend as a field trip and will need to complete the field trip form on MySchoolBucks and pay the $5 to reserve their spot on the bus. The link to secure your spot on the fan bus is HERE.

The link to register for either trip will close at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, no exceptions!
The cost to ride the fan bus is $5 each day.
Students can choose to attend one day only, or both days.
Games are in Birmingham, AL at the Birmingham Crossplex.
The Fan Bus will depart at 4:00 am sharp on Wednesday and 5:00 am sharp on Thursday! Meet the bus in the bus lane by the Cafeteria.
Students are responsible for buying their game ticket on GoFan for entrance into the Crossplex. Only one ticket is required each day.

Students will be responsible for buying/bringing their own lunch and snacks throughout the day.
The bus will begin the drive home as soon as the game concludes. Students are responsible for having a ride home from SFHS when the bus returns to campus.
No refunds will be offered if you change your mind for Wednesday. Refunds will be offered for Thursday only if we do NOT qualify to play in the Championship game.


STUDENTS WHO ATTEND ON THEIR OWN

Your absence will be coded as a School Activity for these two days, but only after the fact.
In order to have your absence changed to a School Activity, you will need to find Dr. Smith, Coach Harper, or any Administrator to take a selfie with them and send to Suzanne Jarrell as proof you were at the games. [email protected]

Tuesday Night!

Mark your calendars!! October 27 come and pack the house and support your Toros girls and boys basketball team. Wear your red and black and bring the energy to the comp gym.

✅ we will have a plate sale during the games and all proceeds will go to the girls and boys basketball team.

I wanted to send a quick message alerting everyone to the fact that we’ve been informed any cars that park on stagecoach Road this evening are subject to being towed at the owner’s expense. We always want Friday nights to be smooth for everyone, so this is a friendly heads up that this could be an issue this evening if park along Stagecoach Rd.
