A dedicated member of the Nevada
Highway Patrol, Trooper Kincaid was
recently diagnosed with testicular
cancer. A father to a 7-year-old son,
Danny has bravely undergone surgery
and is now enduring rigorous
chemotherapy treatments.

Restricted to light duty, Danny’s appointments,
recovery from surgery, and debilitating side
effects of chemotherapy have significantly
depleted his paid leave. The financial strain of
this battle is immense, adding undue stress
during an already challenging time.

We are reaching out to our community for support.

Today's ride-along with the Sparks PD HOPE Team highlighted the power of human connection.

I witnessed these officers provide resources, information on shelters, and engaging in meaningful conversations with individuals experiencing homelessness.

These interactions are crucial in building trust and reducing the vulnerability of this community. The HOPE Team is making a real difference in Sparks!

Spent a great night riding along with Sparks PD. Got to hear and witness the unique challenges they face, especially on the graveyard weekend shift.

I witnessed their work firsthand: officer training, pursuit of a wreckless driver, thorough business checks, addressing trespassing subjects, and even saw our ShotSpotter system at work.

The dedication and professionalism of these officers are truly inspiring.

We are so fortunate to have them serving our city. I promise to continue fighting and advocating for you. Thank you, Sparks Police, for your service! I look forward to my next ride-along with you. 🚓🚓🚓

Toll roads will disproportionately impact working families in Sparks. We need solutions that prioritize accessibility and affordability, not add to our financial burdens. I'm committed to finding alternative solutions that benefit our entire community.

As a law enforcement officer who responded to the Reno riot in May of 2020, I've seen firsthand the violence that threaten a community and the sacrifices our officers make every day. I remember kissing my loved ones goodbye, not knowing what is about to happen, and that memory fuels my unwavering support for the brave men and women in uniform nationwide.

The recent blanket of pardons of violent criminals who attacked numerous officers are deeply disturbing. This decision is not only a betrayal of public trust but also a demoralizing blow to those who put their lives on the line to protect us. It sends a dangerous message that their sacrifices are not valued and that their safety is of little consequence.

I want to be clear: I 100% support the right to organize and protest for changes, beliefs, and advocacy. This is a cornerstone of our democracy. But I also support law and order, and when a crowd turns violent and destructive, I condemn that behavior.

This isn't about a party issue or topic; this is about humanity and a basic understanding of right and wrong.

✨ I proudly and openly stand in support of our law enforcement officers. In Sparks, I will do everything to ensure that those who assault and commit battery face the full weight of the law.

Anything less is a disservice to the brave individuals who uphold the law and protect our cities, county, state, and country. We owe them our unwavering support, and we must demand justice for those who put their lives at risk to keep our communities safe.

🚨 Sparks Residents, Be Aware! 🚨

It's come to my attention that our state emergency dispatch is critically understaffed AGAIN today, operating with only ONE dispatcher. This is an outrageously dangerous situation that puts our community and region at risk.

Not only is this jeopardizing public safety, but it's also incredibly unfair and unhealthy for the lone dispatcher on duty. Imagine the stress and pressure of being solely responsible for handling every emergency call in our city and region! This is not a sustainable or humane way to operate a critical service.

This isn't a one-time occurrence, folks. This chronic understaffing has persisted for far too long.

It's time to seriously consider alternatives. Perhaps it's time to explore merging our dispatch services with a county, which already provides high-quality, reliable service to other areas. 🧐

My thoughts and sympathies go out to this lone state dispatcher who is carrying an immense burden today.

My heart goes out to our neighbors in California who are suffering from the devastating wildfires. I’m deeply grateful for the courageous firefighters and first responders who are working tirelessly to battle these blazes.

I want to express my strong support for holding accountable, to the maximum extent of the law, those individuals who are responsible for starting these fires.

I’m also incredibly proud that Nevada, including our brave men and women from the City of Sparks, have stepped up to offer assistance in this time of need. Let’s continue to show our support and solidarity with California!

I am deeply saddened by the tragic events that unfolded today at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin. As a Councilman for the City of Sparks and as a father, I offer my condolences to the victims, their families, and the entire Madison community. This incident is a stark reminder of the importance of school safety and the need to address violence within our society. 😔

Incidents like this highlight the complex challenges we face in ensuring the safety and well-being of our children. It is imperative that we engage in thoughtful discussions and explore comprehensive solutions to prevent such tragedies from occurring in the future.

In the coming year of 2025 and into the next quarter of a century, no parent or child should have to worry if they are saying goodbye for the last time on their way to school.

I join with communities across the nation in mourning the lives lost and impacted by this event. 😔🙏🏻

Happy Veterans Day to all my brothers and sisters in arms!

Thinking back on my time serving our country in Afghanistan, Haiti, and here at home, I'm filled with gratitude for the incredible experiences and the unbreakable bonds I formed.

From the challenging deployments to the moments of camaraderie that got us through, those memories will always hold a special place in my heart.
