Robert Mitchell Elementary School is now a 3 Star School on the Nevada School Performance Framework. The incredible students and staff have worked extremely hard over the last year to raise our star rating from a 1 Star School to a 3 STAR School! 🌟🌟🌟

We had a very special guest stop by our school on Friday, Mr. Ken Fujii! He was the principal at Robert Mitchell from 1990-1993. He had some great memories and stories to share about his time at Mitchell. Once a shining star, always a shining star!🌟

Mitchell's own Makenzie Caufield was announced as Teacher of the Year in Nevada for her ARL program, Teachers of Tomorrow! They awarded her $500 for her classroom and now she is in the running for the national competition where she can win $5,000! Please vote for our dedicated and hard-working teacher! Our first Show up Shine Bright Attendance Assembly was a hit! Thank you Sparks High Cheer Team and the UNR Cheer team for joining us and hyping up the crowd! We had 28 students with perfect attendance for the first semester and 29 students who only missed 1 day the entire first semester! 6 lucky students also won bikes and new helmets!
