The air you can wear has returned, and because of it, we are now in watch mode for flooding. Be vigilant tomorrow if you've gotta be out and about! We've got another wave of rain moving in tomorrow morning that will bring a risk of flash flooding. We're seeing the potential for a swath of very heavy rain to set up over the mid state tomorrow, but exactly where it sets up remains uncertain. Regardless, if it rains for an extended period of time over an area, there will be a risk for flooding, so keep an eye out. And, say it with us...TURN AROUND, DON'T DROWN!

The storm prediction center has circled our area as they are monitoring our area, only a 20% chance of a watch being issued , they also mention localized damaging wind gusts are possible or a tornado...any tornado that does happen should be short lived, over all , it is a low threat tho. We are monitoring.

TGIF, weather peeps. It's plum dreary out this morning. If you're venturing out, take an umbrella and drive carefully. It rained just about all night for most of Middle TN. More to come today, too, with another push of showers and storms this afternoon. There is a low severe risk this afternoon, mainly for the potential of strong winds and a very low tornado threat. Certainly nothing to cancel your plans over, but something to keep in mind while you're going about the day. You'll mostly notice the heavy rain. I mean hey, we'll take it, but it will be frog strangler type rain today, so be careful out there!
