Drought conditions continue to worsen and any small fire, spark, or discarded cigarette can cause a major fire. Please refrain from any outdoor burning until we receive some much needed rainfall.

The Tennessee Division of Forestry will not be issuing permits for our area today and possibly for the recent future. We will keep you updated.

Burn permits will be required from now through May 15. Failure to take a few minutes to obtain a burn permit and learn legal burn requirements could result in danger and damage to you, your property, and others. It could also result in a fine! !
