Thanks to Legal Aid of North Carolina and the Senior Law Project for the wonderful presentation today. Seniors gained valuable information to make informed decisions and feel more secure about their future. We appreciate your time and knowledge shared with our seniors.

August came and went but was full of “fun in the sun” at the senior center. Along with our normal activities, we enjoyed a day out at the river for a picnic, made some fun crafts, had a Luau and ended the month with a trip for ice cream. Come see us in September for some fun activities leading into fall.

If you do, you can help them by reviewing their Medicare statements to see if they are being charged for things like diabetic tests, genetic tests, urinary catheters, and back braces.
