Lake Mohawk Historic Committee The mission of the Lake Mohawk Committee is collection, preservation, and presentation of the history of the Lake Mohawk Reservation.

•Collect and preserve written, audio, and visual records pertaining to the history of the Lake Mohawk Reservation including oral and written histories of the residents of the Reservation and other relevant books and documents.

•Document the history and current activities of the organization.

•Encourage and oversee renovation with an eye to historic preservation.

•Create indices to pictures and the Papoose.

•Document houses within the reservation.
