Get ready for an exciting summer filled with learning, leadership, literacy, numeracy, and FUN! 📚➕🎉

HCMS Future Focus Academy is proud to present our 2026 Summer School Experience, where students will sharpen their academic skills while participating in engaging daily activities designed to build confidence, teamwork, and test-taking success. From Prefix & Suffix Challenges to Trivia, Quiz Bowl, Musical Chairs, Dance Contests, and our exciting 2nd Annual Spelling Bee, every day will be packed with opportunities to learn and grow! ✨

📚☀️ READY. SET. SUMMER! ☀️📚

Hancock Central Middle School is excited to kick off our 2026 Title I Summer School Program! We are committed to helping our Bulldogs continue to learn, grow, and achieve during the summer months. 🐾❤️💛

🗓 Program Dates: June 1, 2026 – June 16, 2026
⏰ Monday–Thursday | 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

🍽 Breakfast, lunch, and transportation will be provided.

📖 This program is designed to provide academic enrichment and help mitigate learning loss for students in grades 3–12.

📌 IMPORTANT: 8th grade students will be the ONLY students allowed to participate in the Georgia Milestones retest on June 15–16.

👕 SUMMER SCHOOL ATTIRE REMINDERS: Students are expected to wear school uniforms daily: ✔️ Solid color polo shirts (Maroon, Gold, White, Black, or Gray) ✔️ Khaki or black bottoms ✔️ Closed-toe shoes ✔️ Shirts tucked in ❌ No jeans, leggings, slides, Crocs, hoodies, or athletic wear

What an AMAZING day at Hancock Central Middle School! 🎉📚🐾

Yesterday, we proudly recognized our students who MET their i-Ready growth goals in Reading and Math this school year! Their hard work, determination, and commitment to growth truly paid off, and we could not be more proud of them.

We also celebrated our students who scored Proficient and Distinguished on the Georgia Milestones Assessment System! These scholars demonstrated excellence, perseverance, and Bulldog pride through their outstanding academic achievement.

This celebration was a reminder that hard work matters, growth matters, and excellence matters! Thank you to our teachers, staff, parents, and community for continuing to pour into our students every single day. The village is working, and our scholars are rising to the occasion!

At HCMS, we are truly Preparing Today’s Scholars to Become the Leaders of Tomorrow! ❤️💛

What an AMAZING day at Hancock Central Middle School as we celebrated the hard work, dedication, and academic excellence of our students during our Academic Awards Day Program!

Today was a reminder that when students, teachers, parents, and the community work together, incredible things happen. We are so proud of our Bulldogs for their commitment to growth, achievement, and excellence in the classroom. The future is bright at HCMS!

A very special THANK YOU goes to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jackson of Quality Built Construction for their thoughtful recognition of Mrs. Aquintha Kent for her outstanding performance and dedication as a teacher. Your support and appreciation for educators mean so much to our school family. Mrs. Kent continues to make a tremendous impact on the lives of students each and every day, and we are proud to celebrate her excellence!

Thank you to our parents, staff, community members, and everyone who helped make this program so special. It truly takes a village, and today the village showed up in a BIG way!

What an incredible evening at Hancock Central Middle School as we celebrated our 8th Grade Bridging Ceremony! 🎓🐾

Tonight was more than a program — it was a celebration of growth, perseverance, memories, and the bright futures ahead for our students. From the laughter and smiles to the heartfelt speeches and proud families, the atmosphere was filled with Bulldog pride and excitement for what’s next.

Our students have grown tremendously during their time at HCMS, and tonight marked the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another. We are so proud of the young leaders they are becoming and cannot wait to see the impact they will make in high school and beyond.

A special thank you to our amazing parents, families, teachers, staff, and community members — our village — for your unwavering support, encouragement, and partnership throughout this journey. Your love, guidance, and commitment have helped shape these students into the young men and women we celebrated tonight.

To our dedicated HCMS staff, thank you for the countless hours, encouragement, lessons, and life skills you pour into our students every single day. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom walls.

🏆🐾 What an AMAZING night at Hancock Central Middle School as we celebrated our Bulldog student-athletes during our HCMS Athletic Awards Program!

Tonight was about more than trophies and recognition — it was about honoring the hard work, discipline, commitment, teamwork, and HEART that our students have shown throughout the year. From the practice field to the classroom, our Bulldogs continue to represent HCMS with pride and determination.

We are incredibly proud of every athlete who wore the maroon, gold, and white this season. Your dedication, perseverance, and growth have made our school community proud!

A huge THANK YOU to our coaches, families, teachers, staff, and supporters who continue to pour into our students and help them succeed both on and off the field. It truly takes a village to build champions!
